Animal of the Day

The animal of the day is the humpback whale
Marlie Frasier
The humpback whale is found in almost all the world's seas from the polar regions to the tropics. It is known very well for it's leaping. The humpback whale often leaps clear into the air out of the water making a loud splash as it falls back into the water. If you ever go on a cruise look through the port hole and you just might see a humpback whale in the middle of his famous jump. You also might hear the whale's famous song, a multi-tone series of shrieks and deep moans.
It might sound weird but the ugly looking humpback whale is one of the most beautiful animal to swim through the seas.
