Never Mind

Has it ever happened to you
when someone is telling you
something and they drone on and on?
Has it ever happened to you when
you're talking to someone and they
stop short in their story and you ask
them "What?" and all they say is "Never mind."
Couldn't care less.
And you bug them and bug them,
but they still won't tell you.
And... well...Never mind...
