daily dino

Allosaurus

This beast was king of the jurrasic period, and ate flesh of huge beasts such as diplodocus(see previous daily dino). How did it hunt such massive creatures? Well, first they hunt in packs. Second, they had a use for its s shaped neck. They would lunge out with it,and take a chunk out of its prey, somewhat like a spring. As a bonus, their jaw can open surprisingly wide. This beast also had two crests above its eye, used to attract mates, and its well muscled arms could grab prey. People once thought it ran slow, like a t.rex, for if it fell it would get hurt badly, but recent discoveries show it could heal fast.
