Monday 11/17- New Weekly HW

Hi everybody!
Here is all our new weekly homework--
Lang. Arts: Quickfire with spelling words- due on Friday!
Science: Science packet on Heat Energy-- due on Friday!

Also, in language arts we have a spelling sheet that is due tomorrow and in math, we need to finish our fraction flag.

BLANTON TRIP!! Tomorrow we are going on our 2nd fieldtrip to the Blanton Art Museum!
All the students need to bring their lunch because we will be eating lunch at a different time.

Wednesday, 11/12

Homework:
Lang. Arts: BOOK REPORT is due TOMORROW!! Quickfire is due on Friday and study those spelling words!
Math: Equivalent Fractions sheet
Science: Light Packet is due on Friday!
Social Studies: If needed, complete your president poster-- due Friday

Tuesday, November 11th

Homework:
Lang. Arts: Quickfire given today- journal on an ocean voyage- due Friday! Also, your book report is due on Thursday!!
Math: SS #7 and play fraction war at home
Science: Weekly science packet on Light- due Friday
Social Studies: none

No school on Monday!

Language Arts: Ms. Murray assigned the weekly quickfire on Monday and it is due on Friday. Also, we need to read our library books every day and study our spelling words.
Science: Mrs. Pena gave out the weekly science packet on Monday and it is due on Friday. Also, we need to complete our kinetic and potential energy roller coasters by Friday!
Math: At least 1 sheet per night-- Tuesday it is on fractions
Social Studies: None

Homework and Happy Halloween!!

Homework-- tomorrow your Quickfire is due to Ms. Murray and your science packet on Energy is due to Mrs. Pena!! Mrs. Ogren did not give any homework-- yeah!

Tomorrow afternoon at 2:15 is the Monster Mash on the basketball court-- very fun!
All students can wear or bring their costumes-- please no weapons and follow the dress code.

Tomorrow is our 2nd fieldtrip for this week-- super fun-- we are going to the Gem and Mineral Show.
The buses will leave Zilker at 9:00 and we will return at about 11:45. Parents are welcome to join us!

Hi folks,
Sorry we have been off the blog for a couple of days. Our Guided Groups have been changed, so we are in a little transition phase.
Our homework has been the same all week, which is---
Lang. Arts: Finish your horror book report-- it is due tomorrow!! It better be good and done-- Ms. Murray expects a lot!
Math: Just finish anything that you did not in class. Mrs. Ogren is out due to a family loss, we miss her very much but understand.
Science: Keep working on your science packet on Mixtures and Solutions- due Friday, like always.
No homework in social studies.

Funny poem of the day

My baby brother is disgusting.
He puts his fingers in his food
And smears ketchup on his face
And spits out the bits he's chewed.

He does smelly things inside his pants
And is always being sick- especially on me!
Which is a really dirty trick!

When he burps, they say, "Good boy!"
While they tell me to "Stop that noise!"He pulls my hair and laughs
And screams and throws his toys.
"You were just the same!" laughs mother,
It's hard to think that's true.
He goes blue when he has tantrums,
but maybe I did too.
