*This is Sandra Bullock, and what I liked about her dress was the neck line shape.

*This is Halle Berry and what I loved about her outfit was the draping on it. and how well it complimented her skin.

*This is Gwyneth Paltrow and what I really liked about her dress was the simplicity of it.

*This is Cate Blanchett, I really liked the beaded design on her dress. I was not a big fan of the oval at the top.

*This is Anne Hathaway's Oscar dress, and I really liked the pleating in the back.

So the winner of best dressed in Ms.Ogren's class is......Tahlia! Alright so next I'll announce the best dressed competition in Ms.Pena's class!

I really want to thank everyone who posted on my blog because if you haven't seen my last post I got 17 comments! I also want to announce another competition for only the boys in Ms.Thompson's room. I want to end up with a best dressed boy and girl in every class. *I have also posted some pictures from the Oscars of outfits that I liked. It includes Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway, Sandra Bullock, Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow and Cate Blanchett.

So here are the competitions going on:

1) Best dressed girl in Ms.Pena's class

2)Best dressed boy in Ms.Thompson's class.

Since I forgot we didn't have school on Friday today is the deadline! And the winner of Best dressed in Ms.Thompson's class is.....Sierra! She had 5 votes! YAY! Which I also hope will make her feel a bit better since she skinned her leg! :( And the winner of the Diva off is....Isabella! She had 2 votes and Caela saddly had 0. Well have a great 4 day weekend!
And the next best dressed contest will be held from the students of Ms.Ogren's class! Remember boys can be voted for too!

I know I have been posting ALOT, but I want to remind you that the deadline for best dressed (in Ms.Thompson's room) is Friday! I also wanted to announce another contest that will run till Friday. A Diva Off! Isabella and Caela wore the same black skirt, ruffels and more, so vote on who wore it better. Now I want to compliment Tahlia, by saying that I loved her red, and blue striped shirt dress that she wore yesterday! I thought that her wing earrings complimented it beautifully, and they also rmined me of Icarus falling from the sky. Here are the tallies for best dressed so far...

I have just gotten some fantastical news (yes I said fantastical) the new project runway season starts...wait for it....well they staart filming in July or June so...it will start over the summer! So I went to the Valentines day dance, and saw lots of you there, you might not have known but you probably saw me. I want to compliment Grace's outfit from today, it was spectacular. For those of you who didn't see (which is highly unlikely because it totally stood out!) she wore a bright turqouise skirt, a belt with many buckles, black tites, and I didn't quite see her top because I was far away.
I would love to host another best dressed contest except you guys don't comment very much. But if so you can only vute for students that are in Ms.Thompson's class (I want to find the best dressed in one class at a time). It can be a boy or a girl, the person cannot be elected because they are simply a friend, they must be a well dressed person.
Finally my fashion tips, since its starting to get warmer: puffy skirts, skinny jeans 4ever, short sleeve nice button up shirts (4 boys), and your choice! Comment on what you think people should wear more!

Dear music lovers,

Febuary 2nd, 2011 was a sad day alot of people's ,including me, lives. The White Stripes have officially broken up. Here's the message on their website regarding that.

The White Stripes would like to announce that today, February 2nd, 2011, their band has officially ended and will make no further new recordings or perform live. The reason is not due to artistic differences or lack of wanting to continue, nor any health issues as both Meg and Jack are feeling fine and in good health. It is for a myriad of reasons, but mostly to preserve What is beautiful and special about the band and have it stay that way. Meg and Jack want to thank every one of their fans and admirers for the incredible support they have given throughout the 13 plus years of the White Stripes’ intense and incredible career. Third Man Records will continue to put out unreleased live and studio recordings from The White Stripes in their Vault Subscription record club, as well as through regular channels. Both Meg and Jack hope this decision isn’t met with sorrow by their fans but that it is seen as a positive move done out of respect for the art and music that the band has created. It is also done with the utmost respect to those fans who’ve shared in those creations, with their feelings considered greatly. With that in mind the band have this to say: “The White Stripes do not belong to Meg and Jack anymore. The White Stripes belong to you now and you can do with it whatever you want. The beauty of art and music is that it can last forever if people want it to. Thank you for sharing this experience. Your involvement will never be lost on us and we are truly grateful.”
